My brother Pat died in Poway, CA. Date of death is registered as Jan. 5, 2005. However, evidence showed it was the night of Dec. 26, 2004 which I believe was the night of the tsunami in the Indian Ocean. He had already died 3 times while serving in the Navy because he contracted the Bubonic Plague (early '70's). He was written about in some scientific journal as one of the few who since the turn of the century had contracted it. Pat never married and had no issue. He was a great Uncle to Nathanael, Susan and Kristen Pilgrim. They loved attending the Miramar Naval Air Show and weekending in Anza, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, younger brother and mother. He had asthma and smoked, not a good combination for genetically weak hearted people. He is missed.
