Retired! Developing my spiritual life and practices. Living in Mexico and Argentina. Enjoying travel, friends and family. Live about 55 kilometers south of the international border of San Diego, where we have rentals and guest space (La MisiĆ³n), and a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina called San Telmo where we are in the process of buying an antique Italian style home called here a "piso horizontal", or P-H, that is in need of serious remodeling!

We love the Baja peninsula and love to share it. Wine region, gastronomy, whales, ancient cave painting, surf breaks and kayak spots, lagoons and reefs. If you are headed south of the border or to South America look us up. I love to show people around Buenos Aires too!

School Story:

The thing I value most about learning? --my French is pretty good, and my Spanish is now fully functional, although peppered with an Argentine accent and some of their great slang which bleeds through when in Mexico. If I have a lot to drink (!) my Danish comes back, but unfortunately the Japanese I learned as an exchange student is largely gone from my memory. I really regret not learning Italian from my grand parents when I was very young. They were speakers of classic standard Italian.

I acquired a bunch of degrees - but now love learning from people who constitute the international communities we now call home, and, through the extensive travel which frames our lives, we are constantly challenged to re-think our world and our understanding of it! The world is a wonderful classroom and teacher.

Am in touch with my exchange student brother Hans, and we visit one another in varios places of the world whenever we can! He is a fine man and a great friend to me and my family. Love you Hans!!
