Randy's funeral will be at 1pm Monday September 20th, 2010 at the Riverside National Cemetary off the 215 freeway by March AFB on Van Buren. All friends are welcome to attend.

Randy was very into music. Playing guitar and singing all through his life. He was thrilled to be able to sing at his 1970 graduation ceremony and even more enjoyed playing music with friends from Poway High. In 1969 he was one of the original members of the Phs surf club. I enjoyed surfing with Randy but most of all I enjoyed his laugh. Always having a smile on his face.  I remember one trip to the beach. We went to 11th street in Del Mar. It was a crazy day. On the way home we were carivaning old Black Mountain Road when it was dirt. Randy in his old Ford 58 I believe was going around a corner went up the bank came back down on the road and the rear axle slide out of the rear end. We jacked the car up slide the axle back in and drove slowly the rest of the way home. One of many stories we shared. Being friends with Randy also allowed me to meet his sister Cindy who asked me to the Jr Prom. I didn't ask for a second date then, but 40 years later I'm dating her. Thanks Randy. I love you brother and will miss you in my life. RIP ol' friend. Tabe
